Men's Retreat 2019

God calls His people to be transformed by the renewing of their minds. This transformation of thinking God’s thoughts is a daily pursuit. To aid you in this, Men’s Retreat 2019 will display the glories of God revealed in the Bible against the backdrop of current culture and the practical challenges men face.

This year's speaker is Efrem Smith: Pastor Efrem Smith is an internationally recognized leader who uses motivational speaking and preaching to equip people for a life of transformation. He consults on issues of multi-ethnicity, leadership and community development. Pastor Smith is the former president and CEO of World Impact, an urban mission, church planting and leadership-development organization. He is the current co-lead Pastor of Bayside Church, Midtown.

The retreat will be at Mount Hermon. There are three different accommodation options: Good $200, Better $260, Best $295, or Program only $140.

Registration due Feb. 3. Paper registration forms available at the Welcome Table. Or print your own. CLICK HERE

Julotta

Join us for a traditional Julotta Service on December 25th at 6:30 am.

“Julotta” is a traditional Swedish church service held early in the morning on Christmas Day. “Jul” is the Swedish word for Christmas, and “otta” is the time just before dawn.

Julotta is a candlelight service where we read through the story of Christmas and sing carols. It is followed by a continental breakfast. It is a family service so bring your kids, (in pajamas or clothes, entirely up to you), and participate in this great Christmas morning tradition!

Women's Day Retreat

All women are invited to our Women’s Day Retreat. This year we are thrilled to have Liz Ditty sharing with us about God’s Many Voices: Learning to Listen, Expectant to Hear. We’ve all gone through times where God felt silent. Come be refreshed and reminded of the many different ways God speaks to us and be encouraged by building relationships in community with your fellow women.

We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall from 9am-4pm on Saturday, November 10. The event will be $30 which will include breakfast, lunch, and a copy of Liz’s book, God’s Many Voices.
