GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays

Anyone who is grieving the loss of a family member or friend is invited to attend a GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays seminar on Sunday, November 17, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in the Chapel. The seminar offers practical holiday coping strategies for making it through the holiday season and helps participants find hope for the future.

At this two-hour seminar, you’ll view a video featuring advice from people in grief who’ve faced the holidays after their loss. You’ll hear insights from respected Christian counselors, pastors, and psychologists. At GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays, you’ll also meet with other grieving people who have an understanding of what you’re going through. You’ll receive a Surviving the Holidays guide with practical tips, encouraging words, helpful exercises, and journaling ideas for daily survival through the holiday season. Whether your loss was recent or long ago, you are welcome to attend.

This event is free. Please register so that the leaders will know how many to expect.
