Sunday Worship Service,   Sanctuary  --  10:00 am

Livestream of the service available -- 10:00am

Our services focus on giving glory and honor to God, acknowledging Him as the sole source of life. Our worship music focuses on songs honoring the truth of who God is, what He has and is doing through Jesus His son, and our response to Him. Stylistically, you will hear a range of hymns to modern worship songs, full bands to solo acoustic guitar. Our preaching focuses primarily on working through entire books or large portions of the Bible in careful, explanatory (expository) fashion. The goal is to understand what God has said in context, then understand and apply it to our lives in the 21st century, inviting God to teach and transform us according to his desires. We also offer adult classes on a variety of relevant topics throughout the year.

Our address is 1292 Minnesota Ave. San Jose, CA  95125, and our parking lot is located directly behind our building.  There are several handicap spots designated there.  There will be signs leading you to the main auditorium or to children’s classes.

We are an elder-led church which means we do not have a senior/lead pastor. All major decisions are determined by the elder board.  David Misson and Chris Tenny are the main teaching pastors who serve equally.  Tanya Martinez also shares the pulpit along with guest preachers a few times a year. Expository Preaching is one of the core values of Willow Glen Bible Church. This means, we preach through a book of the Bible from start to finish, verse by verse.

The Education Building is the building adjacent to the main church building. There will be signs to show you the way!

NURSERY/TODDLER-- This class is for children crawling up to 3 years- old. It meets downstairs in the street side hallway across from Sprouts & Shoots.

SPROUTS/SHOOTS -- This class is for children 3 year-old through Pre-K.  It meets downstairs in the street side hallway. Across from the Nursery/Toddler class.

MOTHER'S ROOM --  We also offer a Mother's Room for nursing moms, located off the balcony.  The service is streamed into the Mother's room. Please do not bring older children into the Mother’s Room with you.

ELEMENTARY children Kindergarten-5th grades start in service.  The children will be dismissed to their classes mid-way through the service.  The teacher will meet them in the lobby and lead them upstairs. After the service is over they can be picked up from their classrooms in the Education Building.

Please note, there is an iPad check-in procedure.  After you check-in, children's name tags will be printed.

Youth meet on Sunday mornings. Small groups for high school are on Sunday evenings and Wednesday nights for middle school.

When Youth meet on campus, grades 6th-12th, meet for hang out and donut time at 9:30am in the youth room downstairs.  There will be signs to help you find it.  Then youth head up to the balcony for the start of the service.  And when children are dismissed, youth head down to the basement for  age specific teaching, worship, games, and community building. We are a small/medium sized group so expect to be greeted. Youth are led by Family Pastor David MIsson and a team of volunteers who love youth!

For more information visit the Youth Page or contact David Misson.

Prayer is one of the best ways to express faith and trust in God. God responds to our faith! God loves our faith so much so that it says in Hebrews 11:6-- without faith it is impossible to please Him!

We offer many opportunities to pray:
  • Pre-Service prayer from 9:30-9:50am in the Study Lounge.
  • Prayer Team members are willing to pray for at the close of the service.
  • A Prayer Meeting meets on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 7-8:15pm in the Chapel.
